“Proud of who you’re becoming.” — your Coach
The Why

90% of new advisors are gone within five years

Not for lack of drive — because they drift, and no one ever taught them how to return. Most development leans on pressure, proximity, and personality to hold performance together. None of those build an advisor who can lead themselves.

Drift isn’t a failure of effort. It’s a predictable emotional sequence:
InconsistencyDiscomfortShameFearDisengagement

Every step is preventable — once you stop treating inconsistency as a motivational gap and start seeing it as a structural one. Without rhythm, an advisor reads their own drift as personal failure. With rhythm, they learn that drift is normal, and return is expected. The advisor stops hiding. The mentor stops chasing. Leadership stops reacting. The system holds — and belief begins to form.

Traditional systems manage behavior. We build identity — forming belief through rhythm, not motivation.

The industry benchmark

LIMRA research shows only 13% of financial professionals remain with their hiring company by Contract Year 4. The traditional model loses advisors before they ever become advisors.

View report ↗ Finseca FoundationCreating a High-Impact Recruiting Culture, 2020. Four-year retention held in a ~11–16% range for over a decade. View ↗ AM Best — corroborating very high early-career agent attrition; cites LIMRA on low four-year retention. View ↗

How we measure it: Advisor Evolution retention reflects Indianapolis new-hire cohorts beginning in 2023; current-year hires are excluded until the following calendar year. Current result: 8 of 15 retention-eligible advisors remain active. One advisor who has since gone inactive is counted here as both a hire and a loss, and is excluded only from performance/production figures. This is a rolling retention-eligible cohort measure, while LIMRA’s 13% is Contract Year 4 — the two are not identically constructed.

Value per relationship, not just volume

Advisor Evolution advisors average $2,367.61 in first-year life commission per case. The industry benchmark is implied — LIMRA reports premium, not advisor commissions. LIMRA’s 2024 U.S. individual-life total was $16.2 billion in new annualized premium across roughly 10 million policies — about $1,600 of premium per policy. At a 55% assumed first-year commission rate that’s roughly $880 of first-year commission per case, so Advisor Evolution’s $2,367.61 runs about 2.7× — a central estimate near 170% higher. LIMRA doesn’t publish the exact policy count, and a higher count lifts the figure toward ~200%+; we show 200% at the top of that range. When each relationship is worth more, growth stops depending on chasing ever more leads, appointments, and pressure.

LIMRA — U.S. individual life insurance sales (~80% of the U.S. market), the primary authority for industry premium: $16.2 billion in new annualized premium in 2024. The benchmark here is derived from LIMRA premium data using a 55% assumed first-year commission rate; LIMRA does not itself publish an average advisor-commission figure. LIMRA sales data ↗ Advisor Evolution / OneIndiana — new-hire cohort tracker (internal). Average life FYC per case $2,367.61 through July 31, 2026; 2024 firm data corroborate at $2,859.

This comparison is an estimate. LIMRA publishes premium totals, not a public new-policy count or an advisor-commission figure, so the per-policy premium is derived from LIMRA’s published total and an approximate policy count. Our central estimate is ~170% higher ($16.2B over roughly 10 million policies); because the exact count isn’t published, the figure ranges roughly 170%–210% depending on it, and we display 200% near the top of that range — we’ll refine it once the exact LIMRA figures are cited. The point holds regardless: advisors create far more value per client relationship — the aim of Financial Therapy — rather than solving low production with sheer volume.

The Science

Built on how people actually change

This isn’t a motivational philosophy — it’s a system engineered to align with established behavioral science. Every part of the weekly rhythm is designed so growth compounds instead of burning out.

Reflect → Realign → Recommit isn’t a slogan. It’s the cycle these principles converge on — practiced every week, until return becomes identity.

Why it develops advisors

The principles, built into the app

Advisor Evolution isn’t content you consume once. It’s a system your advisors live inside every week — and every part of the app is a principle of development, made practical.

The Four Stages of Development

From needing structure to leading yourself

Every advisor is somewhere on one path. Naming the stage tells a mentor exactly how to coach — more structure early, more space later — and shows the advisor that growth is a progression, not a verdict.
